Opened in August 2018, Thomaz Palace is the result of a rehabilitation in downtown Porto, now being intended for accommodation for short and long stay in its 18 apartments. There are two studios, ten T1, and six T2 (five of the apartments are intended for long-term accommodation). For couples, groups of friends and families, the options are endless, also offering free private on-site parking for guests.
The Thomaz Palace has preserved the original architecture of the facade, with its tall windows and roof eaves carved transporting to the refinement of the past. It is impossible not to notice the ground color of the building, of the 40’s, when it crosses the street of Fernandes Tomás. The name "Thomaz," written in the old spelling, you will find the name of the politician and magistrate of the 18th century, Manuel Fernandes Tomás, considered one of the most important of the liberal period and the leader of the Revolution of Porto, 24 August 1820.
As in the philosophy of liberalism, also in this case guests will have total freedom to take advantage of each apartment, as if they were in their own home, here with the advantage of being two steps away from the Historic Center of Porto.
